The study assessed the cutaneous severity by measuring the surface area following the topical application of C. asiatica (CA) at doses of 25, 50, and 100 mg/kg and dexamethasone (DEX) 1 mg/kg. Non-atopic group used for control. The clinical skin index of dermatitis is defined as the sum of individual scores of O (none), 1 (light), 2 (usually), 3 (serious) and symptoms (erythema, pruritus & dry skin, edema & excoriation, erosion, lichenification). : Symptoms are assessed as dry skin, rashes and other skin wounds. *p < 0.05, **p < 0.01 compared to AD groups
